Shawn Schlogel is a Seattle based jazz pianist, band leader and composer, originally from Boise, ID. As a versatile, freelance pianist/keyboardist, Shawn performs weekly throughout the Seattle area with several groups including his own. As a leader, Shawn composes and arranges all his own tunes for the Shawn Schlogel Trio. Shawn has always had an eclectic taste in music and actively applies that to his compositions. New tunes are frequently coming and changing – ranging from classical to R&B, from Samba to modern jazz, and everywhere in between!

In an “about damn time” kind of moment, the Seattle based singer-songwriter Caitlin Sherman stepped out solo. She had her fair share of collaborations over the years, most notably the cosmic psych rock of Evening Bell and the hazy noir of Slow Skate. As a songwriter and arranger in both projects, she also held the role of girlfriend and wife. Now she is neither.

Evan Captain has performed at jazz clubs and private parties throughout the northwest. He's featured regularly in the Piano Starts Here series, curated in partnership with KNKX radio. Past performances include The Pink Door, Royal Room, Vito's, and Hotel Sorrento. When performing with a trio, Evan regularly features Cornish and UW Jazz school alumni, and many local legends - keeping close to the heart and tradition of Seattle music lineage. Evan regularly accompanies student classes at the Pacific Northwest Ballet School and occasionally plays for PNB Company classes. He has worked with Evergreen City Ballet and Spectrum Dance Theater. His piano influences include energetic players like Ahmad Jamal, Dave Brubeck, Vince Guaraldi, Thelonious Monk, and Bud Powell.
